Last September, Law No. 14.457/2022 introduced the “Employ + Women Program,” which sets forth a series of measures to promote the employment placement and retention of women in the labour market and actions to prevent and combat sexual harassment and other forms of violence in the workplace.
It also included the employer’s obligation to constitute a CIPA (now called “Internal Committee for Accident Prevention and Harassment”).
The Luxembourg Court of Appeal clarified the employers' obligations regarding sexual harassment within their organisation.
The Court stated that the employer’s obligation to act and stop sexual harassment could only be validly implemented once the employee has made a precise report on the alleged acts, which is up to the employee to prove.

The Court of Appeal for Ontario upheld a termination for cause for slapping a colleague’s buttocks and later joked about it.

On 18 March 2022, South Africa’s Minister of Employment and Labour enacted the new Code of Good Practice on the Prevention and Elimination on Harassment in the Workplace.

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has issued the Federal Decree - Law No.33 of 2021 - on the regulation of labour relations in the private sector.
It repeals Federal Labour Law No. 8 of 1980 and will take effect from 2 February 2022.
