On 18 September 2023, the Government issued Decree No. 70/2023/ND-CP, amending, with immediate effect, Decree No. 152 on foreign employees working in Viet Nam, aiming to streamline the recruitment process of foreign workers.
The International Labour Office (ILO Office) released a new tool allowing country’s stakeholders and evaluation services at the national level to review their systems of apprenticeships and manage improvements.

On 4th May 2020, the Sri Lankan social partners and the Ministry of Skills Development, Employment and Labour Relations reached a tripartite agreement for “Pro-rate Wages Based on Varied Levels of Deployment”.
This agreement paves the way to further discuss and solidify schemes such as ‘job sharing’.
