Wipro Limited llegó a un acuerdo con los representantes de los empleados para crear un Comité de Empresa Europeo

  • El 16 de noviembre de 2022, Wipro Limited anunció el acuerdo con los representantes de los trabajadores sobre la creación de un Comité de Empresa Europeo (CEE), lo que la convirtió en la primera empresa india en establecer comités de empresa europeos para sus trabajadores en Europa.
  • El acuerdo se negoció satisfactoriamente con los representantes de los trabajadores de 13 países diferentes y se firmó oficialmente el 15 de septiembre de 2022.

New Zealand: Protected Disclosures (Protection of Whistleblowers) Act 2022

  • The Protected Disclosures (Protection of Whistleblowers) Bill, introduced into Parliament in 2020, received royal assent on 13 May 2022 and will repeal and replace the Protected Disclosures Act 2000 (PDA) on 1 July 2022.  
  • It enables a person, from any organisation or business, to make a protected disclosure direct to an appropriate authority at any time, instead of needing to disclose to their employer first. It also extends and clarifies the grounds where protected disclosures can be made.

Randstad Workmonitor 2022: a new era in the #howwework revolution

  • Randstad published the Workmonitor 2022, the first full survey of 2022 that addresses issues such as job flexibility, work life balance, personal and professional growth and corporate social responsibilities (CSR) in the context of the recovery from the pandemic.
  • The survey was conducted between 21 February and 13 March 2022 in more than 30 countries worldwide.

Chile: new law regulating digital platforms employees’ contracts

  • On 8 March 2022, the Chilean Congress enacted law n. 21.431 regulating digital platforms employees’ employment contracts.
  • The law will enter into force on 1 September 2022.
