Talenteum Africa: an ecosystem platform for remote work

  • Talenteum is a Pan African platform designed to help companies source and employ remote-working teams, mainly in Africa.
  • It is the first social bridging platform matching and recruiting talent on behalf of its clients or customers, offering services that communities and partners may require.
  • It handles local employment compliance, payroll, human resource support, and benefits for international teams, enabling clients to productively hire and manage full-time personnel internationally.

“Telemigration” is the idea in which people from different parts of the world work in virtual offices.

It is also one way to solve the different information gaps between companies and talented workers.

Talenteum platform, as a specialist in social bridging, enables companies to expand their search for recruiting skilled workers and qualified workers to find suitable works without moving to another country.

In Africa, many people who graduated from a local university cannot find jobs in their home countries and are waiting only to be recruited, especially abroad, but are prevented by governmental efforts to curb migration.

Conversely, many companies around the world are dealing with a recruitment crisis.

While digital is exploding all over the world, Africa is also jumping on the trend, as confirmed by the growth of freelance platforms and talent ready to work remotely.

Talenteum platform allows companies to identify, interview and integrate workers into their organization. It ensures the sourcing of staff, the salary of employees, the management of human resources and the payment of salaries, while respecting the local labour law in each of the countries where the employees are located.

This mode of operation contributes to the sustainable development of an impactful HR outsourcing. Talenteum has chosen to follow and implement 4 of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

  1. Gender equality;
  2. Decent work and economic growth;
  3. Reducing inequality;
  4. Measures to combat climate change.

By fostering equitable collaboration between continents, Talenteum enables continents that are struggling to recruit people they need to give real jobs to continents that are struggling to provide skilled work to their populations often very well-educated. Through a complete digitization of the interactions between stakeholders, Talenteum has a social impact and  helps, through remote work,to curb migration flows motivated by economic and social reasons.
