Apicil launches an e-learning module to sensitise people to diversity in the workplace

  • The APICIL Group supports the creation and development of "Voyage en diversitésS", an e-module to raise awareness of diversity in companies.
  • It confirms Apicil’s commitment to inclusion in the workplace.

"Voyage en diversitéS" was created by two young companies from Lyon, Incollab (created by two APICIL Group employees via an intrapreneurship programme) and EcoSo.

The e-module "Voyage en diversitéS" aims to present and promote diversity in a playful and digitalised way, with handmade illustrations to facilitate the approach to a sensitive issue.

It is divided into five stops of a maximum of 20 minutes each: the first two stages are aimed at an inner introspection ("Journey within"), the third and fourth ("Journey towards others") at discovering the different vulnerabilities and the richness of diversity, while in the last ("Journey within the company") the employee discovers learns about the inclusion in the workplace environment. The previous step can be specifically adapted to the company's needs.

E-learning enables employees to acquire knowledge on the issue and realise that they are working in an inclusive and diverse environment.

As reported in Apicil’s press release, which illustrates the initiative, thinking about these subjects and discovering the measures implemented in the company and the various players involved in diversity & inclusion (D&I) is the final scope of the learning.

Marie-Eve Saint-Cierge Lovy, Director of Digital Marketing Transformation and Customer Experience at the APICIL Group and CEO of Incollab, said: "Inclusion is a lasting commitment for APICIL, which is working to make progress in this area and is encouraging other companies to do the same, as there is still much work to be done to promote inclusive initiatives within organisations”.

The companies presented their project at Inclusiv'Day on 3 June and at the Rencontre Entrepreneurs de France on 29 and 30 August, where participants could test the course online via interactive terminals.

This confirms the growing attention within companies to D&I policies and the increasing awareness of employees to the importance of a workplace that ensures an in-depth knowledge and management of such policies, as we reported in our previous article on Cegos Observatory report of April 2022, that shows that D&I policy remains a key challenge for HR managers.
