Continued economic and social impact around the globe
With the Covid-19 pandemic having a continued economic and social impact around the globe, the developments of labour law and industrial relations are still very connected with the health emergency situation. Policy is centered in the economic recovery, mitigation of the impact on employment and businesses resilience.
The second volume of this Newsletter largely covers Covid-19 related issues and changes to legislation in the context of the crisis. In addition, there are some insights for other countries and companies on new collective bargaining or new employment opportunities through the use of technology (e-voting and e-signatures), as well as successful social dialogue processes with long-term objectives.
Overall, this newsletter aims to achieve its main objective, which is to provide concrete and concise information based on current examples of labour developments that can be useful for other countries, Employers’ Organisations and companies.
